Another place where nobles and countesses lived is the Krásná Hôrka Castle. Due to ongoing reconstruction, the castle is not open to the public, but you can admire its grandeur from a distance.

Start in the village of Krásnohorské Podhradie where the Andrássy Mausoleum is located. You can park your car opposite the mausoleum at the information point, where you can also purchase entrance tickets to the mausoleum.
On the way to the Betliar Manor, you will see the Krásna Hôrka Castle on your right, which proudly boasts on the castle hill. The last stop is in the Betliar Manor, which is a 17-minute drive from Krásná Hôrka.
The mausoleum, which is also called the Slovak Taj Mahal, was built by Count Andrassy after the death of his wife as a symbol of his love for her. Inside the mausoleum, there are sarcophagi, which are made of white marble and the dominant altar in this beautiful place. You won't know where to look first.
The Krásna Hôrka Castle boasts mightily on a high hill, and you can see it from a distance as you are driving by. The castle walls are full of history and tales of the important families that owned the castle: the Mariassys, the Bebeks, and the Andrássys. The castle is currently under reconstruction and is not open to the public.
Betliar is the most visited and the most beautiful manor in the land of Haravara. It is located on the outskirts of the eponymous village of Betliar and is surrounded by a beautiful English park with rare trees, romantic buildings, or a waterfall. The Betliar Manor has been preserved with its original furnishings. The last owners left all their treasures in it, which they brought from their travels around the world.
